Americas Best Value Inn Alliance

Chris was great about what was going on and refunded my stay, though he had only just come on after the third room. We ended up leaving for a hotel farther away after I’d moved rooms three times because of bedbugs. The first room was filthy, with pee stains all over the bed and a busted window. In the second room there were bedbugs, and in the third I immediately saw one crawling on the pillows. My partner and I felt so disgusted before we left. I won’t be back.

Room 306 shouldn’t be in use. The toilet wasn’t fastened to the floor and moved, and the TV, refrigerator, and microwave didn’t work. I don’t know if it was a power issue, but they didn’t seem to care and only said they’d tell the head house cleaner, maybe Maintenance. The tub had a hole about 3 inches wide, with a failed paint repair and chips in the drain and all over the tub. I stayed at 11 pm on a Monday only because I was in town for a funeral. The website said $55, but it came to $73, or $84 with tax. Cheap, sure, but damn.

Peppy in housekeeping is worth a few minutes of conversation. He knows a lot, has a soothing voice and a great sense of humor. While we were packing the car as he stripped the bed and cleaned, he twice brought me things I’d somehow left behind. The staff were kind, professional, knowledgeable, and wonderful. The front desk is staffed 24/7, though sometimes you need to ring the bell to get someone’s attention. There were lots of dogs around, including one belonging to a front desk worker, and one hot day I enjoyed the lovely pool alongside some very well behaved kids under 10. One even complimented my diving, lol. The rooms were clean and quiet, and it was easy to drive right up to the door. It’s all on one floor, within walking distance of a couple of restaurants, and less than 2 miles from more restaurants, groceries, gas stations, and shops. Continental breakfast is available daily, though we didn’t have any. We had a comfortable, clean, quiet stay and highly recommend it.

I felt very comfortable staying here, with no worries. The rooms were completely clean, and there were plenty of amenities for a safe, relaxing visit. The staff went above and beyond for me during an important trip, and I’ll come back on future visits. I’m originally from Alliance and moved to AR in 1999. I returned for a week and had a lot of fun using the pool. The blonde, thin woman at the front desk had a great-looking presence and seemed well intentioned. She also had some nice ink. Thanks!
