Quality Inn Alliance

After staying here regularly for over ten years, this was easily our worst visit, and we won't be back. I brought one dog on the trip but was charged for two. The pool area used to be well kept, but this time the hot tub was drained, the pool wasn't heated, and the lights were off. When we asked about the lights, the woman said she needed a key. There was no sign saying the heat was unavailable or broken.

Everything was spotless, and the staff were great and helpful. My only gripe is that the couch and mattress felt too hard on my back, though that's a personal thing.

We came for a baseball tournament in town, met lots of nice people, and now we're heading to carhenge for photos on the way to Deadwood South Dakota. It was our first stay here, and the hotel was nicer than we expected. The staff were very helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs, and it was packed, so it can't be too bad. A couple of things in the room need attention: the toilet is loose, the seal underneath leaks and leaves the floor wet much of the time. The shower head could use replacing too. It has several settings, but only one works well, though the pressure is great and it worked well enough. I'd recommend staying here.

A handy choice if you're staying around here. Scooters, McDonald's, and Arby's are all easy to walk to.
