The town of Alma is really friendly, and the place felt safe. There are plenty of food choices, too. Parking for trucks is great, though it can fill up; they do have other spaces that work. Beds were a little soft. They offer hot breakfast, but I didn't have time to try it.

It was quiet and the customer service was good. The pool and vending machines were closed, and the guest laundry was out of service too. You can still see where cameras used to be.

For $100 a night, I should've picked somewhere nicer. The room needed more cleaning, and I wound up cleaning things for us. There was hair on the bathroom floor, the toilet shifted whenever we got up or down, and the lamp wouldn't charge our phones. The heater smelled like a dirty fish tank. The beds were about three feet high, so my six-year-old could barely climb up.

We stopped for one night on a road trip, and getting to the hotel from I-40 was easy. The staff were kind and attentive, and the area was quiet for a peaceful night's sleep. Our room was clean and simple. The bright white sheets and extra pillows were a nice touch, especially the bolster. The mattress was nearly comfortable, though not awful. I'd stay again.

The breakfast was awful, basically cereal and maybe a banana, with no milk for the cereal. We stayed four nights and didn't see housekeeping until late on the third day, so I had to track them down for towels and to get the trash emptied. The room itself had filthy floors, a loose shower rod falling off the wall, and a sparking bedside lamp. There were four big burn marks on the bedspread that I first mistook for bugs. The bathroom tile looked badly done. We couldn't get into the room until staff put batteries in the key card reader. The whole place looks very run down, inside and out, and the setting behind a gas station felt sketchy. The online pictures don't match what we found. The pool shouldn't be advertised when it looks like it may never reopen. Management needs to remodel. I'll send this to Wyndham corporate. We used the Wyndham app before, but we won't stay here again.
