The beds were really comfortable, which mattered a lot after our 12-hour workdays. We arrived in the middle of the night, and the man checking us in was very friendly. He helped us all week with whatever we needed and kept our rooms stocked with clean towels. We finished work early, so we had two full days to enjoy the water park right behind the hotel and the screened picnic area beside it. We grilled there and had a great time, and invited the manager to eat with us as a thank-you for looking after us. Thanks for a great stay!

Our room was filthy, with unmade beds, human hair and dirt on the sheets, and wet towels left on the floor. The front desk guy didn't know where the room was and kept calling Tim, who worked at an Econo Lodge in Kansas, for help. Tim was even ruder and more clueless when the clerk handed me the phone. Staff lied to us repeatedly and wouldn't give us a refund. This was the dirtiest, cheapest, sketchiest motel I've ever seen. I'd take a horror movie motel, or a tent in the gas station lot, over this place any day. Stay at the Super 8 across the street. The owner should be embarrassed, and I hope they bulldoze this place soon.

On a road trip from Chicago to Phoenix, I stayed here once and honestly hated it. The location wasn't so bad, but the AC barely worked, the bed was rock hard, and the room felt like a health hazard. I was this close to sleeping in my car.

The building is older, but it's kept up and very clean. I've stayed at cheaper places where the wall heater and AC units seem to have filters that haven't been changed in years, so turning on the heat gives off a burnt-hair smell. Nothing like that here. During my seven-day vacation in March 2022, this was easily the cleanest place I stayed. For about $50 for one person, it was a GREAT experience.

The weekly rate worked well for my spouse while traveling for work in Phillipsburg, KS, and helped save on the daily per diem. It's probably a decent fit for traveling workers: there's a bed, refrigerator, and microwave, and the price is good. I appreciate an affordable place and wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I would've paid a little more for a better stay. Our first room was small and clean, but the TV volume and channels worked only sometimes. It faced the front, where highway noise was awful, and the beds felt like box springs. The bed seemed full-size rather than queen, which didn't work for us and left me sleepless during my visit. In the last room, the toilet had black duct tape on it, the tub was stained, there were rust marks on the floor, and the bathroom light had no cover. It had two beds, but he was told not to use both, with no reason given, despite the weekly stay possibly lasting several months. The online pictures did reflect the rooms. Breakfast was very basic with few choices, the juice machine didn't work, and it was awful. Communication was difficult, so listen closely. I wasn't charged extra after my husband had been there, possibly because he assured them I was only visiting for a few days and would be out most of the day. I found the reaction to my visit a bit hard to read. I've never had to pay extra for two occupants using one bed, and I feel that rate should match the one-person price. That's just my experience. The weekly rates were helpful, and I gave two stars rather than one because we've stayed in worse places.
