The customer service desk employee was kind and tried to help, but I still wouldn’t stay in any room here. The building seems to be falling apart: there were roof holes, a leak beside the breakfast counter, missing ceiling tiles in the halls, stained floors, torn furniture, carpet stains in the room, and a rusty microwave. The bad reviews seem accurate. I don’t think guests should be staying in these conditions, so I’d tell people to spend their money elsewhere.

I’ve been trying for six days to speak with a manager, but he’s always busy, and the staff have been rude. One front desk employee left me on the phone long enough that I could hear their whole conversation, including a lot of swearing. I have photos and videos. The room itself was filthy, with a strong, disgusting smell of weed and animals. The shower doors wouldn’t shut, the bottles had no shampoo or conditioner, and getting clean sheets and blankets was a struggle. The door was badly beat up, too. A supervisor told me the second floor is usually for guests with animals. That’s where they put me with my two kids, and it made the situation worse. It’s a shame given the hotel’s high rating.

The tall man at the front desk was welcoming when we checked in, but the rest of the experience was deplorable. My husband and I travel often for work, and this is the worst Comfort I’ve stayed at. The hotel feels dated and the rooms weren’t clean. Breakfast had an okay selection, but Mary, the woman overseeing it, kept telling my husband he couldn’t get a waffle and nagging him about what was on his plate. It was strange, and she was also getting in the way of other guests enjoying their meal. Management clearly doesn’t care about the guest experience. I’d spend a few extra dollars for better treatment at the upscale hotels on Windward Parkway.

I’m a Choice member and paid $500 for five rooms last night. When I got to mine, it was 60 degrees, the floor was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest, and there was no bedding, sheets, pillow covers, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, or other bathroom supplies. I had just one towel. I went to the front desk four times to get it sorted out, then gave up. I spent the night on soiled pillows with a single white linen sheet for a blanket. In the morning, I found the breakfast bar wasn’t open. There are other places to stay in Alpharetta, so please take your hard-earned money elsewhere.
