Homewood Suites by Hilton Southaven

The first room had stains on the couch and hadn’t been vacuumed. The door looked as if someone had tried to pry it open with crowbars. They politely moved us when we asked, but the second room still wasn’t well maintained and had crumbs on the floor, though it didn’t have stains. We left the next day and found another hotel. I did like how spacious the rooms were and the queen size bunk beds for a family of 4.

I arrived feeling a bit stressed, but the Homewood Suites made the stay relaxing and perfect. Leola, the front desk attendant, really went above and beyond to make me comfortable. She paid attention and responded to everything I needed. Great job, Leola!

I liked having coffee and tea pods in the room, and it was well appointed. The staff were friendly, breakfast was decent, and the experience was very good overall. The only slightly odd thing was the $10 / night parking fee. I’m not really sure what that’s about.

Homewood Suites is one of my favorite Hilton brands, and the hospitality here was great. Rebecca and the team were amazing, and breakfast was amazing too. Still, this location is due for a remodel. I’d booked an ADA 1 bdrm King suite but got a Studio King instead. We arrived late on Thanksgiving Eve, checked in, and went out to help prep for Thanksgiving. When we came back for the night and got ready to leave the next morning, we found the shower head was broken and most of the bathroom amenities weren’t mounted. Both rooms I was assigned seemed to have some water damage.
