Thurman's Lodge

There were roaches, the beds were much too soft, and our room didn't have a microwave. We paid $90 for a room that normally goes for $59 because of bikes blue's and bbq. We're never staying here again.

I had booked two nights, but left after one because I found bed bugs. I didn't notice them when I arrived, but the next morning during yoga I saw several large adults crawling across the floor. They refunded the unused night, but not the night when I was bitten and infested. So I spent $70 to get bed bugs, and now I'm at a laundromat washing everything I can on hot and worrying about what to do with the things I can't wash, like my purse. I had to throw out my favorite pillow from home and my yoga mat. Bed bugs suck. I'm stressed, out $70, and wouldn't stay here.

It was the only room left in town. It was cleanish, though the bedding was old and the towels were cheap blue-striped pool towels. It worked for one night until we could get into another place.

We had a king jacuzzi room and found it clean, with no bugs and hot water. The bed wasn't the best to sleep on, but we enjoyed our stay and have been in worse places. We were a little wary because of some reviews and the way it looked from outside. We hadn't realized there was a motorcycle event on the busy weekend we chose, so finding somewhere to stay was hard. We decided to give it a try. Definitely not five star, but we had very few issues with the room.
