The location is great, and the bed was comfortable enough, but the motel feels dated. They were doing a lot of seasonal landscaping while we were there. In our room, the shower had almost no cold water pressure, so getting pressure meant water hot enough to scald. The bedding and towels were clean but showed their age and old stains. Light came in all around the exterior door, though fortunately we didn't find bugs. Smoking in the stairwells and at the ends of each floor was obnoxiously strong, and non-smokers won't like it.

The rose garden, which was there before the hotel, and the breakfast made this feel especially tied to Eureka Springs. Breakfast included recipes from the historic hotel, which I think burned down before the Quality Inn was built. The staff knew the area and were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. It has the advantages of a national chain while still keeping some local charm. I'd definitely stay again.

The Christmas decorations were lovely, and the staff, especially the breakfast crew, were warm and personable. We got a great price and expected a less pleasant stay, but the hotel exceeded our expectations. The main drawback is getting downtown, about nine minutes away, though there's a trolley stop right in front. We were also disappointed to learn on arrival that there isn't an indoor pool, despite Super.com’s Google description saying there is. Everything else was a 10/10 for us.

We spent two days here, and even though I believe the motel was sold out, I never heard people in the neighboring rooms. The mattresses were comfortably firm, and I slept like a baby. It’s an older motel, but we had no problems and the water was hot. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. Gavin was especially polite and drove us to and from breakfast in the golf cart.

Danny makes a delicious breakfast, including a frittata made in-house with fresh farm ingredients and a spread of other good homemade food. The staff are all friendly and attentive, including Chris, Mary, Doug, Josh, Dianne and Cheryl. Owner Patsy clearly cares about the place and pays attention to details like the room decor. She’s the leopard queen! The rooms are clean and cozy, and close to the fun around town. This is hands down the best hotel in Eureka Springs, and I highly recommend it.
