The Bull Moose Lodge

The lodge is right next to the saloon, which serves pretty good food and drinks in a very local setting. Our room was large and clean, with the biggest king-size bed I've ever seen. It had a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, plenty of storage, and lots of places to plug in USB. It was quiet from road noise, though we could definitely hear people coming and going upstairs. Definitely recommend.

We used to come here often for burgers, so this was a real letdown. The $17 price wouldn’t bother me if the quality had stayed the same, but it used to be $14 and the food is much worse now. Our medium-rare burgers were dry and chewy, like cardboard, and the new shoestring fries weren’t any better. We’re locals, but we won’t be back. I wish I’d read the reviews first. If negative stars were an option, I’d give them. Save your money.

The room and bathroom were both small, dated, and the bed was really uncomfortable. There isn’t a hotel lobby, so you pick up your key at the bar. When I went to check out, the bar was locked and nobody was there to help. The barmaid is also the receptionist. The location was presented as closer to Jackson Hole than it is, and the stay was greatly overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel or restaurant at any budget. Sleep in your vehicle.

This is just about the restaurant. Service was literally the worst we’ve ever had, and the place wasn’t even busy, maybe five other people were there.
