The couple running the motel were welcoming, and having Pizza Hut across the street and a convenience store next door was especially handy with our big trucks. My coworkers and I stayed Thursday night, and I was really happy with my very clean room. The beds and pillows were comparable to Hampton inn, which surprised and impressed me. They serve a Continental breakfast, too. I plan to stay here from now on, and highly recommend it.

Parking and stopping here were easy, and if I'm back near Big Bend National park I'd happily stay again. The management clearly care about their guests. My room was comfortable and very nice, breakfast was enjoyable, and everything in the room worked.

For the price, it's a great value, and the location is close to downtown and the University. The outside doesn't have much curb appeal, but inside it was clean. There was also a flat-screen TV with a clear picture, cool AC, a mini fridge, and a microwave.

The room seems to have a renovated interior and the price is affordable. They have an ice-maker and continental breakfast. Cleanliness was the drawback, though: there were hairs on the blanket, plus spices and soya sauces in the drawers.
