We stayed in Summer Mountain, a one-bedroom, one-bath cabin with a large futon that worked as another bed. It was just right for our small family, with a stocked kitchen, a private parking spot, a deck with a table and hot tub, plus a fireplace and TV. The cabins are spacious and private, close to ski resorts, restaurants, and other things to see. The owners were kind and helped with our questions about driving and the area. I’d definitely come back. It’s a peaceful spot for a family bonfire, and you can fish in the river right behind the cabin.

We were in a rush to book and wanted a private, cabin-style place right by the river with a hot tub. This had what we were looking for, and I’m glad we chose it. The photos on the website don’t show how beautiful it really is. The owner was super friendly, and I loved that it was pet friendly. Our lab had lots of room to move around. We came to Linville mainly for Linville Caverns, but they’re closed right now because of the rain and another Covid outbreak. I’d come back.

Such a hidden gem, with beautiful cabins tucked beside the river and plenty of hiking nearby. Boone, Morganton, Spruce Pine, and Little Switzerland are about 40 minutes away. The cabins have everything you need for cooking and your stay, including kitchen supplies, linens, laundry soap, a washer and dryer, a hot tub, and soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The owner was friendly and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. We’ll definitely be back.

I haven’t stayed here yet, but I hope to visit as soon as I can. It’s so beautiful and peaceful, and I could sit and swing there forever. A gentleman came out and spoke with us. He was very polite and nice. I think he owned the place or runs it, either way, I’m looking forward to coming back for a visit!

The cabin was cozy and nice, and we had an awesome weekend visiting the falls and Blowing Rock, the local town. The owner was helpful and very kind. My only complaints were the shower head, which was kind of gross and needs a good cleaning, and the toilet paper, which was one ply at best. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay.
