SpringHill Suites by Marriott Sacramento Natomas

The room made us really happy, and we both had a great stay. Jo was especially kind when our AC started acting up and helped get it sorted. We tried breakfast on the last morning too, and it was pretty decent. Just a couple of small problems: the bathroom sink was draining slowly, and there was mold in the ice bucket.

The room is clean and works fine, with a fridge and microwave, but this stay has been a miss for us. We’re on the third floor and keep hearing what sounds like the elevator moving. The toilet also runs loudly for a long time after flushing, so we had to call someone about it. We haven’t decided whether to switch rooms. The TV won’t let us sign in to YouTube TV, and Netflix requires an ad-free account, so it looks like we’re stuck with regular TV.

The room itself was really nice, but I wouldn’t risk staying in room 303. I got a rash while I was here for work, and my doctor thinks it may have been an allergic reaction to bed bugs. I told the hotel, but they didn’t seem very concerned.

On our second night, we came back to find housekeeping hadn’t been in: the beds were still unmade, the trash was there, and we had no fresh towels. The front desk told me they only clean every other day, which I’d never heard of and don’t remember seeing mentioned. We’d been pleased at first. The facility and room were very clean, there was plenty of free parking, and it was close to many of the Sacramento sights we wanted to see. We’d booked two nights in November 2025.
