The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, though not every room has a tub, so check first if you need one. There's a great open field out front for taking dogs outside. Getting on and off the highway is easy, and there are some decent food options nearby. The front desk woman was really sweet and accommodating with me and my dog. I'd definitely recommend it if you're stopping in Sacramento.

The bed was comfortable, but I wouldn't choose this hotel again. The breakfast was average, like the hot breakfast at plenty of other hotels, and the room had no mirrors, so getting ready was awkward if someone else was in the bathroom. I asked for a room without a tub because I'd seen online photos of walk-in glass showers. Ana, the night receptionist, said only the handicap room had no tub, so that's where I was put. The bathroom was inconvenient for me. Water spread everywhere after I showered, and I used a lot of towels trying to mop it up. It looked outdated and dirty, with someone else's hair on the sink. There was no soap or toothpaste, no extra towels or face towels, and the only toiletries were two small makeup wipe packets and a tiny moisturizer bottle. Before arriving, I called to check whether the airport shuttle ran until 10:30 p.m. The woman at the desk said 10:00, even though the website listed 10:30. I had to point that out, and she checked with the driver before confirming the later time. There are other hotels closer to the airport, so I'd skip this one.

Yasmine and Caesar were the best part of the stay. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. I used to be a Night Auditor at a Fairfield in Tupelo, MS, so I know the challenges hotel staff deal with. The room was roomy and comfortable, just as expected for a TownPlace Suites, and breakfast was acceptable. It was nice to see Yasmine still at the Front Desk during breakfast, since a familiar friendly face is always welcome. She hadn't had much time off between shifts and is studying Hospitality. She seems to have picked the right field, she's friendly, efficient, and professional.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the parking lot was well lit. I felt safe there, and the location was easy to reach. The staff were great. There wasn't enough lighting or furniture in the room, though, and the dated loveseat was uncomfortable.
