Super 8 by Wyndham Altus

We'd stayed here before Wyndham bought it, and they've made some amazing improvements since then. They were also very nice to do business with. The pool was warm and clean, the bed super comfortable, and my husband gave the shower a 9. Great place!

I was surprised by this hotel. Pulling up, I didn't have the best feeling, but at check-in the girl greeted me with the most beautiful smile and made me feel welcome. The room was clean and spacious. We booked one night while traveling to Colorado with the family. Let me tell ya, I'd definitely recommend it!

The owner responds to reviews, so I'd be happy to discuss this further with you personally if you leave a way to reach you. I do appreciate that after Priceline called the hotel, the refund was handled quickly with no issues. The customer service and communication before that were awful, and the problem solving in an unexpected situation was even worse. I booked through Priceline. The staff were friendly up front and said the only room needed cleaning, which would take 10 to 15 minutes. After 45 minutes with no update, I asked the front desk what was happening and was told the toilet was leaking. My child was falling asleep in the lobby, so I got them settled in the car and went back to ask for another room or a refund. The front desk lady then became rude and disrespectful, saying she couldn't change rooms since I'd booked online. I gave up and drove to Vernon to get a hotel there. I called Priceline to confirm the cancellation and refund. They called the hotel because it doesn't have a monitored fax or email line.

I highly recommend super 8 in altus ok. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. In my opinion, since the new owners took over, they're making very good progress. The previous owners neglected the place for many years, and the staff and people are much better now.
