The road noise was the worst part. The cabins really aren't suited for stays longer than a day, since the AC, heater, and TV didn't work. And the hot water was barely warm, whether it was 70 or 30 degrees outside. Good luck.

The staff were really nice and sent us a map and entry codes by text since we were arriving after the office closed at 6 p.m. on Sunday. There's also a handy shuttle to the Big Texan restaurant. The park itself was clean and quiet, but it's near freeway, airport, and train traffic. If you're a light sleeper or the walls bother you, bring earplugs.

The bathhouse was clean, and we had a fenced dog park of our own for the pups. It was an easy place to get in and out of, and it did what we needed. It's not a five-star resort.

After spending several months here, it feels like we're part of a family instead of just tenants. Management is friendly and always helpful, and they take good care of everyone. The grounds are clean and well kept, with a nice little yard feel. We travel for work and see a lot of RV parks, and this is truly one of the best. I highly recommend it.

I've stayed here several times and have never felt unsafe. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and checking in after hours is really easy. They emailed my receipt and confirmation with my site number. When I needed the bathroom code, the park manager walked me over, let me in, and wrote the code down for me.
