I refused to stay in the filthy room and never spent a night there. The online photos give a completely misleading picture. It was advertised for travelers, workers, and families, but the place felt more like a dangerous trap house than somewhere safe. People were hanging around, there seemed to be drug activity, and there was no sense of security. I stepped away briefly and came back to my room door wide open, my things disturbed, and several items missing, including my firearm. The manager was rude and defensive when I reported it, and showed no concern. When I said I was calling the police and asked her to wait, she replied, “I’m not waiting nowhere.” Officers asked for the security footage, but management said it had deleted itself. They also refused a full refund, even though I never stayed there. One of the worst experiences I’ve had. Stay far away.

The front desk ladies were super nice, and that’s the only star I can give this place. There’s rust in the tub, mold painted over above the shower head, and a leaking sink. Hot water never seems to be available, with only one water heater, and people come and go all night. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more. Motel 6 is far better.

I was on a work trip and booked late check-in, but after a 10-hour drive I got there at 930pm and the room still wasn’t ready. They eventually let me in, but the towels and sheets looked and smelled used. The microwave and TV didn’t work, so I fixed the microwave plug and used my laptop instead of bothering with the TV. I stayed a week, then had to extend for work and booked another week. At 530pm when I checked into the new room, I was told they needed to switch me because it hadn’t been cleaned yet. Staff said it would be ready by the time I got back from Walmart, and it was. Still, the towels looked very used and dirty. The bed sheets looked fine, but I used only my own towels, blankets, and pillow throughout my stay. The toilet looked dirty, there was mold on the soap holder, and I found dirt, hair, and wrappers along the bottom edge of the bed. There was also some white powder on the nightstand. I have no idea what it was and don’t care to find out. The door had no latch, which made me uneasy, so I blocked it with my cooler while I was in the room. Then I found a pair of used, dirty women’s underwear under the work desk near the TV stand dresser. After all that, plus a disconnected smoke detector thrown in a drawer and paper-thin walls with constant neighbor noise, that was the last straw. Otherwise I might have chalked it up to a loss, but people should know how gross and terrible this place is. Yes, it’s cheap, but I’d rather pay extra for somewhere safe and sanitary. If you must stay, avoid rooms 210 and 124. They were absolutely terrible. I’m sure this place has so many violations, and how it’s still operating is beyond me. Best of luck to whoever stays, and at minimum bring your own blankets and towels.

After a 14-hour drive, I arrived late as arranged and had to drive another 6 hours afterward. They’d left a key for me, but it didn’t work, and someone else was in my room. I ended up sleeping in my car. The area seemed unsafe, with people yelling and doing illegal activities.

The beds and paying aren’t the best, but the stay was decent overall. The people running the place are very nice. It was mostly quiet and felt safe.
