Route 66 Inn

I’ve been staying here for years while working at Pantex, and the lovely people who run the place treat me like family. Definitely the best motel on the boulevard, and the price is right.

Parking gets tight if you’re towing something, and it’s a bit far from the freeway. The place was clean and nice, with a great shower.

I’m terrible at planning, so I usually end up paying really high hotel prices. The owner of Route 66 Inn kindly got me a reasonable rate and even woke up when I arrived at 3am to get me set up. The rooms were MUCH nicer than I expected, and the beds were really warm and comfortable. You’ve got a recurring customer! The owner takes security seriously, with over a dozen cameras watching the facility to help keep guests and property safe. I know the area, and I can see how the people on the street could make it look sketchy. But I promise you’ll sleep safely here and your car will be fine. Also, your wife, the cleaning lady, was just outside in the room over and offered to take my card since the office was locked.

We’ll definitely come back on our next long road trip. It’s a very clean and comfortable motel, with nice cold AC. Management is extremely professional, courteous, and accommodating. Our car had a surprise problem the morning we were supposed to leave, and the staff were kind and helpful about letting us stay longer. They’re truly nice, understanding people. We recommend the place. Thank you!
