Kevin or KJ, the manager, is wonderful, professional, and compassionate. We talked at length about the memory care issues my husband is experiencing. He understood my frustration about the room not having heat and a few housekeeping issues. When I came back about a week later, everything was up to par. I’ll definitely return for a third stay very soon. On my first visit, after checking in and putting away my luggage on a very cold, windy evening, I discovered there was no heat. Christy tried resetting the unit and all the other little tricks, but nothing worked. She moved my luggage with me to another room, where the heat worked, and checked on me twice. She did it all with a wonderful smile. Christy welcomes you with a wide open smile and really wants your stay to go well. Thanks, Christy.

The dining room was huge, with space for several families to gather without feeling crowded, and breakfast was delicious. We had a fantastic room with comfortable beds, though the pillows were just alright. The atmosphere felt inviting and breathable, and check-in was quick and easy. I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. I appreciated the owner taking the time to reply to me personally, and I’ll see you guys in two weeks. This is a great, nice, clean place. The staff were very helpful, check-in had no wait, and the lobby was clean, fresh, and free of snow. The room was clean, though a few little things made me worry I’d be charged for damage caused by age or things that were simply broken. The bathroom sink faucet plug was off, the coffee pot was missing its bowl, a bedside lamp didn’t work, and the table lamp shade was cracked. We reported all of these to the lobby.

We’ve been on the road a lot over the last five months, staying in hotels and Airbnbs, so we’ve had plenty to compare this with. Sleep Inn worked well for us: it’s close to lots of places to eat, and getting to the places we planned to visit was quick. Even with I40 nearby, the hotel was quiet. Our room was roomy and comfortable for us and our friends, stayed cool without much noise, and I liked having the sink outside the bathroom so it could be used while someone showered. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice way to unwind in the evenings, and the staff were kind, attentive, and much appreciated. Breakfast was OK, with eggs, bread, juice, coffee, small yogurt, fruit, waffles, and cereal. Having eggs and biscuits and gravy two mornings in a row wasn’t my favorite. In cattle country, some sausage would have been great, like at other hotels, and my wife would have liked instant oatmeal. I also couldn’t find any hot sauce, not even a packet or bottle. What is this, Oklahoma? I couldn’t find Univision or Telemundo either, though honestly I didn’t search very hard. We’d stay here again.
