We were visiting friends who were staying here, and this was a terrible first impression of Amelia Island. They were paying guests, but I’d never stay here myself after how rudely we were treated. We’d parked at the public beach access, walked along the beach to meet them, and spent the day together. When a storm came up quickly, we helped carry their canopy, tents, and chairs to the parking garage. We were only going to walk through it to the road and then back to our car. My daughter has a service dog, but we weren’t given a chance to explain that before an owner and board member who monitors the garage confronted us. He said only owners could have dogs there. I explained we were just passing through, and he replied, “Thanks for trespassing.” We weren’t going to their condo, only through the garage, but he sent us back out into the storm to walk down to the public beach access. We’ve traveled all over the US and have never been treated so rudely. If you stay here, expect to be stopped and questioned in the garage. Don’t have visitors over, even people just passing through the garage are treated as trespassers.

Clean and quiet, with a private entrance straight to the beach. A great place to stay.

There isn’t much parking, but the beach is close and the pool was clean. It has a family atmosphere, and restaurants and stores aren’t far away.

The spectacular views and clean, well-stocked unit made for a cozy stay, and we’d return tomorrow if we could. The beds need replacing or support, though, since all except the twin sink in the middle. The shower curtain should be changed, and the rugs need to go because they smell, or seem too worn for such a nice place.

The oceanfront view is phenomenal, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The living area also had a nice-sized TV, and the bathrooms had plenty of space. But the beach furniture, tables, and beds had a dated 90s look, and I think the carpet needs replacing. The shower in the bedroom was awkward. We stayed in 307. More modern furnishings would have made this a five-star condo for me.
