405 Atlantis

The views are beautiful, and the location is excellent. Our rental was clean and comfortable, though it could use a lot of care. Regular upkeep and updates seem to have been neglected. If you’re fine with a place that isn’t new and shiny, I’d recommend it. Amelia Rentals carries this property.

The unit itself was spacious, in a great spot, and the gentleman working in its office was very kind to us. But the check-in mess was extremely stressful, and we won’t use Amelia Rental and Management again. I called three times and even drove to the rental company to ask if our unit was ready. They kept saying they’d call once it was, so I waited. By 5:40 p.m., nobody had called and the office had closed. I went to the after-hours drop box to look for the check-in details, and thankfully they were there. I was really worried about where we’d sleep, with my one- and three-year-old tired from travel and my in-laws confused too. Also, everyone at Atlantis gets just one parking space, and several towels smelled like cigarettes.

The kitchen and living room make for a roomy, open space, and one of the vacation units I saw was very well stocked. It seemed like a great alternative to a hotel. These are lovely condos right by the beach, where you can hear the ocean clearly from the living room or main bedroom.

Third year here, and I’m coming back. The condos are private and very clean, though some feel dated. It’s a great base for touring, and at low tide the beach is flat and firm, nice for walking.
