I enjoyed the stay so much that I’ve already booked for next year and am looking forward to 2027. I was there for a month in January, when it was cool, but the stay was extremely pleasant. The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. I appreciated the care shown to both me and my pet. The beach was three-tenths of a mile away, an easy walk, and there was good access to places to eat and entertainment. I cooked most of my meals in the room.

The heating and air conditioning can be a little confusing, which is the only reason I didn’t give all fives. We had a great time in Fernandina Beach, and this was our second stay at Sea Cottages. We really like it, recommend it, and plan to stay again.
The beds were comfy, and the rooms felt cozy, with a mid-sized fridge, TV, microwave, sink, dishes, and utensils. It’s a pet-friendly little cottage spot tucked among the trees, just a quick walk from the beach and some great restaurants. It was perfect for our family trip to the Dickens Festival, and the price was very reasonable. A couple of room ideas: a mirror in the main cottage area would help when someone’s using the bathroom, and hooks by the door plus more places to hang towels or swimsuits in the bathroom would be useful.
Really cute, clean, quiet, and environmentally friendly place, just a walk from the beach. I love that it’s pet friendly. Now I know I can bring my fur babies! Thanks, sea cottages of Amelia Island. Best regards, Lindsey LeClair and Tesla Roberts
I loved sitting on the porch of our duplex, watching squirrels with coffee or wine. The cottage was quaint, clean, and quiet, and the other guests during Thanksgiving week of 2025, including their furry friends, were pleasant and quiet too. It’s across from the Hampton Inn and close to food, drinks, and the beach, all less than a block away. Most things on the small island are 10-15 minutes away. There’s plenty of free parking on the property, and it was the best value on the island. I couldn’t get the internet working for TV, but I didn’t ask for help and didn’t take off any stars since I had a hotspot and iPad, so it wasn’t a big deal for us.
