Our room was really nice, and the manager reversed the charges for all of us the next morning, which was good. The trouble was other guests. My wife and I were there for one night with our car club, and after dinner we found people roaming the parking lot, leaning on members' cars and putting their belongings on them. When my wife told hotel staff, they said they weren't responsible for damage to vehicles. One person in our group disliked that answer enough to check out right away. My wife photographed the people around the cars and politely asked them to move away. Fortunately, they listened. I had hoped to use the pool, but that same group had left the pool area trashed and the water disgusting.

The free breakfast really let the place down. The waffles you make yourself were okay, but the Impossible Burger patties tasted terrible, the potato planks were warm, soggy and salty, and the chicken sausage was bad too. The cold hard-boiled eggs, coffee, and orange juice were the best choices. I lost a star over the food. The hotel itself is very nice, with great rooms that are set up well for a longer stay. There's a large refrigerator, microwave, dishes, flatware, mugs, glasses, toaster, cookware, and a dishwasher. Good for the rooms, not the breakfast.

After a 14-hour drive, I arrived with my whole family, including my 73-year-old mother and 7-year-old child, only to be told at the desk that our reservation had been cancelled. It had been fully paid and confirmed through hotels.com and home2suites. Jon was the only employee we could speak with. He said the credit card had been declined and they had tried to contact me. I showed him the charge and my phone, which had no calls from the business. His answer was that I had booked through a third party and should contact them. He offered no further help. Hotels.com and Expedia staff called while I was standing there and spoke with Jon, who just repeated the same explanation. They were disappointed too. A hotels.com agent eventually booked us into a very good hotel right by the falls. This was the worst hotel front desk experience I've had. I won't stay here or at another Home 2 Suites after this. I'm a Hilton Honors member, but I'm not sure I want to remain one. I'll spend my money where I'm valued.

My first visit, and I loved the place. Natasha, the front desk Manager, and her fantastic team made me feel welcome from day one. It's an amazing hotel in every way. I've already started looking at dates to come back. Thank you! 🌺
