Reikart House, Buffalo, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The inside is wonderful, even though the exterior is understated and a bit misleading. The rooms are quiet, the breakfast was wonderful, and there's plenty of parking near the airport. It's pricier than the big chain hotels, but there were no kids screaming and running around all night. That alone makes it worth it.

The bed was so comfortable, it brought to mind another hotel's original “heavenly beds” idea. I also appreciated that the extra pillows we'd requested ahead of arrival were already waiting in the room. That kind of detail really made a difference for me. I loved this hotel. You can tell they spent money making the property beautiful and comfortable.

The room had a cozy bed and a fireplace, and the titanium benefit included breakfast in the room, which made for a much-needed relaxed morning. There was also a big selection of snacks and items at the room bar, even a stuffed monkey toy. From check-in to check-out, our stay was perfect, and the decor throughout the lobby and rooms was stunning.

Claudia and Marty welcomed us warmly. Their kindness, professionalism, and easygoing hospitality made us feel at home and part of the Reikart family. They really set the tone for the stay. Our room felt calm and restful, with soothing colors and lovely furnishings. The bed was cloud-soft, the linens crisp but gentle, and little touches, from the curated décor to the morning smell of fresh coffee, showed care for comfort and artistry. Arriving at Reikart House felt like entering a story rather than simply checking into a hotel. The place has a peaceful blend of old-world charm and modern refinement, with rich textures, soft lighting, and details that suggest heritage and heart.
