Heritage Inn & Suites

The location was the only reason we chose this hotel instead of driving to Tupelo, though next time I’d make that drive. I paid for four nights when I checked in on Thursday, April 30, but left after three. I gave 24 hours’ notice that I was checking out Sunday night rather than Monday night. Since May 4, 2026, I’ve been trying to get a refund for the unused night, and they still won’t return my money. This place needs a lot of work.

Rooms are plain, but roomy and clean, and the hotel has improved a lot under its fairly new management. I’ve noticed slow-draining sinks and tubs in some rooms, plus a few faucets that keep dripping. The curtains also hang over the HVAC units beneath the windows and block airflow. Every time I’ve stayed, I’ve had to bunch the curtain bottoms onto the sill so air could get into the room instead of collecting behind them.

The location is handy for restaurants and shopping, yet the area was quiet. The room was a typical hotel room, and all the staff were kind and helpful.

After an eight-hour trip for our family reunion, we couldn’t stay in either of the two rooms and had to find another hotel. The photos can speak for themselves. I’d strongly advise anyone who expects clean, comfortable accommodations to avoid this property. We were very disappointed, especially since the owners still charged us for one night for both rooms.
