Teresa made me feel at home, and the house was beautiful and clean. She even went out of her way to make sure I had eggs and bacon for breakfast. The Glenn family made me feel safe and well looked after. This bed and breakfast is only five minutes from Amory’s main shopping and dining area, and I absolutely loved it.
The Old Place Bed & Breakfast is a lovely, quiet country spot, almost like unwinding on a farm. The antique furnishings and family heirlooms give the rooms character, and there are two beautiful claw-foot tubs for a relaxing bath. The sunrises and sunsets are incredible. Theresa and Jimmy are wonderful hosts who keep checking whether you need anything. A great place in Amory, MS, run by even better people.
The owner makes sure you feel welcome, with warm Southern hospitality and every detail attended to. The Old Place is a gem, whether you’re there for a week or just afternoon tea.
Nice place, though I think it should be adults only.
It was cool and quiet, and our host was helpful and quick to reply to texts. Great place to stay. We’ll stop again if we’re in the area.
