Anaheim Marriott Hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room design made the stay frustrating. There were no drawers, barely any closet space, and no luggage racks, so we had to ask the front desk for racks to get our suitcases off the floor. I usually unpack everything when I'm staying more than one night, and there wasn't room to do that here. Our corner room could be seen into from lots of other rooms. The sheer curtains were so transparent that we had to keep the blackout curtains closed for the whole trip. The bathroom's sliding barn door had about an inch of space at the sides, so it offered no sound or smell privacy. We come to the Anaheim Convention Center every year, but I won't stay here again. Too many design problems affected the quality of the stay.

The staff and service were very nice, as they usually are with Marriott. The location is especially handy for a convention, nearly as convenient as the Hilton. The room itself was plain. Even though it was spacious, it only had a basic chair, with no ottoman. There was no bathroom hook for towels or a makeup bag, and the shower lever for switching between the regular and hand sprayers had no handle.

The disability support really stood out for our family. We all have disabilities, and they helped us with a wheelchair-friendly room and walk-in showers, when available. From valet and the bell staff onward, we had a great time. We enjoyed the staff and the resort amenities, and the Concierge Level is the way to go.

The room, food, and service were all excellent, and the staff made our daughter's birthday feel special. Check-in was magical, then we got Mickey Mouse-shaped pancakes at Fuse, a surprise drink from the coffee shop, and dessert waiting in our room after the park. Every gesture felt thoughtful and sincere. We made lovely family memories and can't wait to come back. :)
