Ayres Hotel Anaheim

We’ve stayed here twice now and both visits went really well. The hotel is clean, well cared for, and good value, with friendly service and a handy guest laundry. We had a king room on our first stay, then got upgraded to a suite on the second because we’d recently gotten married. Breakfast was included both times and there was plenty to choose from. Parking was included too, and it’s easy to use. Angel Stadium is close by, with lots of restaurants a little farther down the road.

A clean, friendly place that’s easy on the wallet. The staff were kind, everything felt organized, and the rooms were very clean. Plenty of other hotels seem to have bed bug problems, but I didn’t run into that here.

The beds were comfortable, the pillows were great, and the fridge and microwave both worked well. My room on the second floor was clean, and the staff were polite. I’d stay here again. The location worked well for my Disney and Knott’s trip, about 10-15 minutes away, and I felt safe with security in the parking lot. The lot was nearly full only once, though parking costs $16-17 a night. I’d have preferred to use my key every time I came and went in a rental car, since that would have given me an extra bit of security. I work nights, so breakfast ended too early on weekdays, though it was good. Staff could be loud, and the sound echoed badly, which made it hard to sleep in. I heard two women sharing all the tea. Putting towels under the door helped a lot. There’s also a self-serve snack area, handy but on the pricey side.

I booked here for a business trip to the Anaheim convention center after hotels right by the venue had filled up months ahead. I hadn’t heard of this place and, seeing its three-star rating, wasn’t expecting much. It ended up being better than I expected. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are friendly and know their stuff. There’s a clean pool, a working spa, and a good breakfast in the morning, though it doesn’t have all the amenities of a big resort. It has its own parking garage and Tesla charging stations, but parking costs extra. I’d stay here again.
