Best Western Plus Pavilions

The staff were really accommodating and even opened the laundry two hours early for us. Parking was included, and breakfast at the Denny’s next door starts at 6:30, which worked well for getting to Disney at rope drop. The rooms were a good size, with comfortable beds. It’s about an 8-minute Uber ride, roughly $8, to the Disney drop-off, or an 18-minute walk.

Just a 20-minute walk gets you to Downtown Disney, so the location works really well for a Disney visit. The rooms are a little dated, but they’ve been kept up well.

The hotel itself was pleasant, and I’d consider coming back. The shuttle to Disneyland is fairly straightforward, and housekeeping did a very good job, cleaning the room and changing the sheets daily. The breakfast at Denny’s was a nice extra, with limited but good choices each day. They also had free grab-and-go bags with snacks and bottled water. A couple of things took away from the stay: the window AC was very loud and could abruptly start in the night, and the shower setup had little to stop water from spilling onto the floor. There was no door or tub, and the portable shower head faced the curtain instead of the wall. Parking cost $15 per night, while the next two hotels on the same street offered it free. I booked through a popular third party and didn’t notice the fee for my nine-night stay when I made the reservation. The price and unclear parking charge were frustrating, but otherwise it was a nice hotel.

The parks are an easy walk from here. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice. In the morning there are grab-and-go breakfast or snack bags, plus vouchers for breakfast at the Denny’s next door.
