Ana and Eli at the front desk were polite, patient, and helpful whenever I called with questions or simple requests, like extra towels. Ana was especially thoughtful in person, with a kind smile and an ability to sort things out or think ahead about what we might need. When she wasn’t there, Eli did a great job filling in. They make a terrific team, and hablan Español as well. Hasta la Vista ladies, until next time! God bless. We had a great stay at the Cortona Inn. It was convenient for our needs and very close to Disneyland. We hope to come back in the coming months. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was pretty good. We didn’t use the pool. It’s a convenient spot for Disneyland, right by the Toy Story lot, which you can cut through to catch the free bus into the park. Parking at the hotel costs extra. The hotel felt pretty standard for its class. Our room was by the stairs and elevator, so people were constantly passing, often making noise. It was a bit loud.

We came for my daughter’s birthday, and the staff were great and accommodating. They even decorated the room for her 10th birthday. The hotel is going through renovations, so everything feels nice and new. After we changed to an upgraded room, housekeeping returned jewelry we’d left behind. Sergio and the wonderful ladies deserve extra love and a raise! Thanks, and we can’t wait to come back.

The kids loved the heated pool, playing Marco Polo without freezing, and the adults appreciated it too. The hotel is in a warmer climate, and the kids were happy. Rooms are a bit dated, but that wasn’t a big deal. The location worked well, close to Disneyland and the convention center. The layout is U-shaped, with parking inside and rooms facing the lobby and pool. Voices carry everywhere. Housekeeping had loud conversations right outside our room, perhaps because we were by the washer, dryer, and supply rooms. After 20,000 steps at Disney, or hours watching 2,000 gymnasts at a meet, a midday nap or some quiet downtime wasn’t happening. The continental breakfast was a stretch: odd sausage, egg patties, and potato squares. I only really cared about having a waffle machine, and there wasn’t one. Sad! We came for a gymnastics meet, which meant about 120 seconds of actual competition for my daughter and four hours hanging around. We’ll probably find somewhere else next time.
