Hyatt House at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center

We had a nice room after being upgraded to a larger family layout, with a living room and a separate door. The windows faced the road, and we could see the Guardians of the Galaxy tower. The front desk staff were especially warm. There was minor construction by the room, and we had to step over some boards, but it was manageable. The hallway smelled odd, though the hotel was otherwise clean and well maintained. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to Disney, which is why we booked it. I'd stay again for Disneyland.

Bring earplugs if hallway noise bothers you. We heard footsteps, laughter, and doors as if people were right by the bed, and I even heard a phone ring and a whole conversation from the washroom. Headphones and a podcast didn't stop me being woken several times by people returning from the parks. One night was sweetheart nights, when the park stayed open until 1:00 a.m. The hotel really lacks soundproofing. Still, the location is great for an easy walk to Disneyland, and having Walgreens and Starbucks on site was handy. Breakfast was good before a busy park day. Our suite had a door between two bedrooms, one with bunk beds and a pullout couch, so we had a bit of privacy. The front desk and breakfast staff were very welcoming and kind. I'd recommend staying here, and would come back with earplugs.

Pua at the night desk was incredibly helpful when our son woke up vomiting at 12:30 a.m. She brought supplies to clean up, then made several trips with more towels, fresh bottled water, stomach medicine, and air freshener. That kind of care is why this remains our first choice for Disneyland. We've stayed a few times and always loved it. Rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is good, and it's within walking distance of the parks. Walgreens and the restaurants downstairs are very convenient, too.

This was our second Disneyland stay here, and we'd come back. The front desk staff were friendly, breakfast was included, and there were two free waters a day for Hyatt members, who can join for free. The bed and pillows were good, and the towels smelled so nice. The room was cleaned well, including the toilet, shower, and mirrors. I like hard floors because they seem cleaner, though there was some lint in spots and it could've been vacuumed better. The basic room looked onto the parking garage, as expected, and the heater wasn't working well. I turned it off and the room warmed up fine.
