It’s a Motel 6 converted into a homeless shelter. They may be renting out a few rooms. You’ve got the information to make your own grown-up decision. Shouldn’t be a hard one unless that’s the kind of scene you’re looking for, pun intended.

This hotel is no longer operating as a hotel and is now a homeless shelter. Some booking apps, like Priceline, are still taking reservations, and getting your money back is difficult. I booked on October 4, 2025. When we arrived, a police officer told us the location was being used as a homeless shelter.

The front desk people were polite and helpful, including bringing extra towels, but the hotel was bad enough that we cut our trip short by a day. The room smelled like urine between the bed and bathroom, and it was barely cleaned. The bedframe and bathroom needed dusting and wiping down. The California king mattress was rock hard, not a king as listed online. The wet-room style shower was nice, but it drained too slowly to shower for more than ten minutes without flooding the bathroom. The toilet paper was placed in the shower at an angle, so I knocked it onto the floor twice before moving it to the back of the toilet. There was no closet, just a waist-high clothes rail. The chair was flimsy plastic, the layout felt odd, and there were no washcloths. The quality didn’t match the price.

We had two rooms for our group of seven. The beds were fine and the towels were fresh, but the walls and doors were another story. The floor corners needed attention too. I’ve worked for a cleaning company, and these issues would take less than ten minutes to fix with a quick wipe-down. It doesn’t seem like the rooms are being cleaned properly, and the motel needs better workers and more supervision. I know Motel 6 isn’t a hotel with the same standards, and I’ve stayed at many locations across different states over the years. This one is so close to Disneyland that I’m sure the company could afford to expect more effort from the workers.
