Motel 6 Anaheim Hills

The suites are huge, with big beds and the home and business basics furnished. It’s a good option for people on a budget, and the pool and grounds are spacious. The furniture and mattresses are the good old originals. A wonderful, educated, respectful family runs the hotel. From cousins to brothers, they’re super attentive and want you to feel well. Thank you, Sejal, for making us feel so warmly welcome. The lady neighbours and I appreciate how you helped us feel like the hotel was a second home.

The front desk person was friendly, and the location was convenient for what we needed. But the room was disgusting. I was there with my kids and appalled by how dirty and gross it felt. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and half the outlets didn’t work. It was a terrible stay. We had no other option that night unless we wanted to spend $400. I’ll never stay here again. Apart from the location and friendly desk staff, it was a complete dump.

The room was disgusting. We wouldn’t sit on the furniture unless we covered it with a sheet. The employees seemed incompetent, too. They said a guest had used all the ice, but neither ice machine was on, so they probably didn’t work.

Once we finally got into the room, it was disgusting. The place smelled dank and musty, and brushing our teeth at the open-drain sink brought up a strong sewer smell. It was the most disgusting excuse for a motel I’ve ever stayed in. Never again. Sleep in your car first! We had booked through Expedia and arrived at 5 AM, about six hours before check-in and after an exhausting eight-hour drive. The hotel had closed out the Friday night I’d paid for, kept the money, and marked me as a no-show. Apparently I was supposed to call even though they knew I’d arrive basically the next day. My bad. I was also “upgraded” to a “suite.” I can’t understand how they can do business with rooms in this condition, and I can’t say loudly or often enough: do not stay here. Zero stars 🌟.
