Emily was a pleasure to talk with and gave us great ideas for dinner and things to do during our visit. The host was extremely accommodating, and breakfast was freshly made and delicious. We were only in Anchorage for one night and were glad we picked this place. I'd highly recommend it and would stay again.

Irene made us feel so welcome and was really helpful. Her son was lovely too and helped us with rentals, which made our time in Alaska easy. We came from New Zealand for a week in anchorage, and I 100% recommend this warm, welcoming home. Irene is the host with the most 😜😜, and her breakfasts are amazing. Thanks for a lovely stay :) 💛

I'm sharing a friend's account of staying here for 3weeks. The place was cluttered and dingy, and he was never given fresh linens or towels. Neither his room nor bathroom was cleaned during his entire stay. He also became very sick, which he attributed to the unsanitary kitchen conditions and food he was served. I wouldn't stay at this bed and breakfast. I'm sure there are better options.

The owners are great, the neighborhood is nice, and the place is centrally located. It could use a deep spring cleaning, and the mattresses creak whenever you move, but it's still a very nice place and I'd book again. One tip separate from the rental: take the tram at Alyeska. It's worth it, with hiking at the top and other things to do nearby, about 40 mins from the rental.

The host was welcoming and nice, and the food was very good. Breakfast was better than any hotel or restaurant I've tried. The place is comfortable, though a bit tight, and has the feeling of staying at your grandma's house. My one complaint is the towels: they were cheap, very thin, and rough.
