Motel 6 Anchorage, AK - Midtown

The room had very few amenities, but it was spotless and just right for our short stay at that price. The rate reflects what’s included, and there’s no continental breakfast, though restaurants are within walking distance of this Motel 6. The staff were awesome, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Karen, you rock! Looking forward to staying here again soon.

There’s no breakfast at all. For $130, the local discount rate, plus a $150 security deposit that takes 5-7 DAYS to come back, I’d expect at least some fruit or something. The room is just a room, nothing special. The front staff were extremely pleasant.

It’s an older hotel with some worn areas, but the rooms were clean. The staff were amazing. Claudia at the front desk was such a joy, friendly, helpful, and smiling. She made each morning a little better.

The staff made this stay for me. They were warm and helpful whenever I spoke with them, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance. The Midtown location, just south of Tudor Road, also made it easy to get around Anchorage. The room was clean and cared for, and I always had fresh towels. It was small, but fine for a short visit and a reasonable price. The mini fridge and microwave worked, though a Moose Tooth pizza might be a tight fit. My main complaints were the bathroom lights flickering the whole time and no vent for air circulation. The toilet also sat awkwardly close to the shower and off center. I enjoyed my stay and would look this place up again if I return to Anchorage. The staff deserve a lot of credit.
