Residence Inn By Marriott Boston Andover

We stayed at the beginning of August, five of us in a two-bedroom suite. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable, but the hotel was very dated and the breakfast mediocre. Most staff were friendly. Breakfast was usually being cleared before 9 a.m., though it wasn't that great anyway. Our AC worked well, unlike some rooms with window units. The water pressure was good too. The pool deck had screws sticking out in places, most chairs were broken, and pool towels were rarely available. We started the week with only four towels and one extra blanket for a room that slept six. When I asked for more towels and a blanket for my daughter, I was questioned about why I needed them. We chose not to have the room cleaned during the week, so I don't know why one more blanket and a couple towels were a big deal. We saw one roach in the first-floor hall, but no bed bugs or other bugs in our room. Staff were quick to collect garbage left outside doors. It wasn't what we've usually found at other Residence Inns, and overall it was disappointing.

After I checked out during the January 25th storm, Brian wouldn't let me leave without clearing all the snow from my car. He was really friendly and caring, and just wanted to help. I'm grateful, and I hope management knows what a good employee they have.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the breakfast. The front desk staff were accommodating, and the room was so clean it felt like my mother had cleaned it. The layout was lovely, the red decor looked terrific, and everything seemed new, perhaps recently renovated. We spent hours sitting in front of the gas fireplace in our room. We'll gladly return.

We had a nice, big room for two nights, with a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, stovetop, desk, and couch. Thanks from your friends in Arizona!
