Quality Inn & Suites Ankeny - Des Moines

I've stayed four nights, and the staff have been more than helpful each day. They're always polite and personable, and the rooms are clean. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location worked perfectly for our stay, and the rooms were nice. Breakfast was surprisingly complete, too. We often have very good experiences at Quality Inns, and this one kept that up. Everything we needed was taken care of here, so I don't see a reason to pay more somewhere else.

WARNING: this Ankeny Iowa location requires a 100.00 dollar deposit per person in the room. I didn't see that disclosed on the booking sites, including SUPER.COM and Expedia. I had a fixed income and couldn't spare the extra 100.00 dollars, so after paying 60.00 dollars I slept in my vehicle in the parking lot. There was no refund. It was Minus 5 that night. They offered me a room without the deposit, but I worried the operator could file charges for defrauding a inn keeper. Trust no one in Iowa. They just want your money. Consider yourself warned.

We spent three nights here for my son's high school graduation. The service was excellent, and our rooms were beautiful and clean. Highly recommend!
