We stayed close to the doctor's office because my lady had a colonoscopy scheduled. The room was a one bedroom with a kitchen, and we liked it, but the toilet was loose and rocked while she was getting ready. The remote batteries hadn't been replaced, and getting them was hard. Two double A batteries cost 8 bucks on the island.

The location was good, but the rooms were just meh. The pool had been shut down by the state, and nobody had told us. Staff didn't seem to care either. There are plenty of other options, so I'd probably stay somewhere else.

I didn't want to leave a bad review and tried to let the experience go, but the whole stay was a nightmare. Getting into the bungalow room was awful. This is neither a resort nor a hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable I've had, way too soft like a water mattress and bad for my back. They advertise a kitchen on booking, but it was only a microwave. Who cooks with a microwave? I've also been chasing them for an invoice for a week. They keep blaming booking, while booking says they need to provide it. Terrible service, terrible rooms, an experience I'd rather forget.

There was no one here, no front desk, and no office. The door code never arrived, and the phone number went to a full voicemail box. The message said to call the emergency contact number posted outside the office, but there was no office. We spent the night at an actual hotel 30 minutes away, then came back in the morning and caught another guest leaving so we could get the emergency number. It was for Vacasa. The man gave us a 10 digit code for the front door, which didn't work. We tried it three times before he gave us the four digit lock box number. The city had closed the pool because of bacteria, and one room was closed due to roof damage. It felt like someone had bought a few homes, called them a resort, and had a cleaning crew come by once in a while. There was no manager or front desk, just pure greed. I'll be reporting this to the department of Florida hotels. I demand a full refund and compensation for this terrible experience.

The shower was absolutely awful. The pressure was so weak I couldn't even rinse the sand out of my hair. We contacted Vacasa and were told that's just how the property is, and nothing could be done. I'm very disappointed and frustrated. If we'd known, we wouldn't have stayed, especially since we came for the beach and a working shower head is essential.
