The beds were firm, which I like, with soft fluffy pillows, though I needed three of them. The gym had usable equipment, and the continental breakfast was fine. The lobby smelled nice and looked clean, and the staff at check-in and checkout were cool. Outside, the building looked a bit dated and the front door was different, but there wasn't much traffic or noise despite being close to the highway. The location works, though it isn't the most convenient depending on which way you're traveling. I liked that a church is connected to the hotel. We were there for sports. The trouble was that my minor son was harassed by local police for walking around the parking lot listening to music. I don't know if an employee or a guest called them, but it was upsetting to have our happy occasion turn sour because of other people's poor decisions. The situation could have ended my son's life even though he doesn't look like a minor. He's a child, and a good one. After an awesome day, he ended up harassed and with PTSD, and I'm angry about it. I spoke with Andy at the front desk, who explained what happened and clarified the situation, but his response still didn't justify calling the police. I'm still unhappy. Please make wise decisions. They could cost someone their life. Stop being scared all the time. Some people just want to live. Not everyone is a criminal!
