Everything else about the stay was pleasant, and the staff were accommodating. But I picked this hotel because my daughter loves swimming and the pool was advertised as heated. It wasn't warm, and its door wouldn't shut all the way, which may explain why the pool room felt chilly. My room was cold too. It was mostly glass and the outdoor temperature was quite low, so I was cold even while fully dressed. When I asked the front desk about adjusting the heat, she said they couldn't control it and that rooms are always 80°. Mine certainly wasn't.

The hotel is a little out of the way, but I liked the room. The bed was comfortable, and there was a microwave and fridge. The indoor pool and small workout room were nice to have. The front desk staff were great and gave me a late checkout.

Breakfast had plenty of good choices for the family, and the staff were friendly. We had a good three-night stay overall, with a clean room and good amenities. The one hassle was the TV. We asked the front desk to have someone check it while we were out. It seemed fixed briefly when we returned, then the same issue came back soon after.

They woke the whole room, kids included, with a 5:00 AM call we had never asked for. When we brought it up at the front desk, they seemed completely unconcerned. The customer service at this Marriott was unbelievably bad. We stay at Marriott properties almost all the time, and I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member with the Bonvoy credit card, so I know the usual experience. This was nothing like it. Easily the worst Marriott stay we’ve ever had.

The room was clean, and breakfast was excellent, including the staff who prepared it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Kenneth Jones at the front desk was especially kind. I asked for another iron and some extra pillows, and he brought them within minutes. He apologized for the wait, even though it was quick, and was very polite and professional.
