Satellite Hotel

The room was clean and everything else was good, but the key situation was a major safety and logistics failure. Around 9:30 or 10 pm, someone came to our door with a key, knocked, tried to get in, and said they’d been given our room key by mistake. If I hadn’t turned the lock, a stranger could have entered while my girlfriend and I were asleep. The next morning at 7:50, someone woke us by knocking to “double check it was empty.” Everything else was great, but that should never happen.

I had to stay here for about a week and a half before I could move into my apartment, and chatting with the front desk staff always lifted my mood. Lenny, Ethan, and Vinessa were all lovely and helpful. The room was very nice, and I liked having a balcony, even though it was too cold to enjoy it much. I’d recommend Satellite Hotel to friends and family visiting me. It was cool to find pool tables and a peaceful library for residents in a hotel. I also ate downstairs at Jay's soul food. The fried chicken was great, the prices were good, and everyone there made me feel welcome, even though I came alone. My one surprise was a call to the general manager to ask about the condos. He sounded unhappy, which stood out because everyone else I spoke with was so nice.

I’m really grateful to everyone at The Satellite Hotel. Misty, Glenn, and especially Ethan at the front desk were so accommodating, friendly, kind, and courteous. I can’t put enough praise into words for them.

Ethan, Jay, mya, Misty, and the whole staff, thank you so much for making my dad’s celebration and my wedding amazing. This place was incredibly accommodating. Ethan, you’re a star for wearing purple for me. I can’t say how much that meant. You came through for me in such a professional way. The customer service was the best. They should give Ethan a raise and never let him go. Everyone he greets gets to experience what makes this hotel special. Thank you!
