Apple Valley Hotel & Lodge

We booked two rooms at a great price for a good friend’s birthday. Bart made sure the staff knew what we needed, including a handicap room, even though he wasn’t there himself. The rooms were clean, in excellent shape, and smelled good.

I’d drive an extra 10 miles off the freeway to stay here again. My family and I were pleasantly surprised: the room was very clean, the whole property was well maintained, and everyone on staff was helpful and courteous. I liked the view across the street and even had fun climbing the hill while I was there.

Needed a room for friends and their kids pretty late, and this was a reasonable last-minute option. They take cash deposits, the room was clean, and that was plenty for us.

We’ve stayed here every time we’re in town, probably 50 nights in the past year, honestly. The rooms are quiet, the beds are comfortable, there’s always plenty of hot water, and they provide soap and shampoo. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels are fresh each day. Parking is plentiful and well lit, and there’s never an odor. Service is excellent, too. Nearby you’ll find plenty of good restaurants and major stores just blocks away, including Mexican food, pizza, Wally-World, Target, gas stations, 7-11, and Pollo Loco. The Route-66 entrance is about 10 minutes away. Raz Mexican is less than a mile away and has very good Biria. Viva Maria is an excellent sit-down spot, and the Mix Mocajeta is 🔥 with shrimp, steak, chicken, cactus, and huge chunks of cheese.
