Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Appleton, WI

Angel and Raven made this stay stand out. I was looking for furniture stores, and Angel put together a list of nearby places with their locations. Raven sorted out a room upgrade and helped me get oriented with more store information. When a plumbing problem came up in my room, the staff moved me to a free upgrade for the rest of my visit. The hotel seemed well cared for, breakfast was above average, and someone was always around to answer questions. It was quiet in Appleton, Wisconsin, in December 2025, so I could choose my room. I plan to stay here on future visits.

We arrived late because of a family emergency and were welcomed warmly. The bathroom floor was soaked, but when we called the office someone came right over and offered us another room. We were fine with putting extra towels down instead. The hotel was quiet, the bed was really comfortable, the TV was nice and easy to use, and breakfast was good. We’ll come back.

That snack corner was a nice surprise, with plenty of snacks, freezer meals, ice cream, and drinks. There were also lots of breakfast choices. The lot filled up quickly each evening, though even the farthest space was still close to the entrance. My room had a living area with a loveseat, chair, desk, and TV, then a clean bathroom and a mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave, roomy counter, and lots of storage for food and drinks. It was spacious, and I appreciated being asked if I wanted a first-floor room for my weeklong stay. The staff were friendly and professional. The property was clean, though my carpet had a few stains. That didn’t bother me as long as it was vacuumed. I do wish the workout room were open all night, but I understand the issue since you have to pass through the pool area and the pool closes at a set time. I’ll stay here again.

The bathroom could use an update. The toilet felt wobbly, and the tub faucet and shower head were difficult to adjust. The room itself was clean, and everyone we dealt with was courteous and very friendly. Breakfast had the usual breads, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. The eggs weren’t always warm enough, but it was still a fine start to the day. We’d stay again.
