We stayed four days because we couldn't get a refund after trying to move elsewhere. I've been a Marriott member for nearly 20 years, but this experience has me reconsidering future stays. The room had black mold on the ceiling, water damage from the floor above, bugs in the room and shower, and sand in the bed. We had to clean it ourselves to feel comfortable. There was no housekeeping during our stay. When we asked, staff said it was a known issue and they couldn't clean rooms. We were given only two dingy towels, and they never dried properly over the four days. The front desk employees were nice, but the internet didn't work. Even as a Marriott Rewards member, I couldn't get online, and the desk said that was a known problem too. Breakfast was terrible unless you wanted waffles every day. We went elsewhere. My husband will eat or drink anything, but the coffee nearly made him sick and he wouldn't try breakfast again after the first morning. The grass was almost three feet high, making the walk through the parking lot unpleasant. From the road, the place looked abandoned apart from the cars out front. The elevators shuddered so badly they seemed like they might snap, and the hotel, hallways, and elevators all smelled awful.

Breakfast was a real highlight, way better than the usual hotel meal. My room was spotless and felt fresh, which matters most to me. The front desk staff were professional and made sure I had what I needed. I'd happily stay here again.

We felt welcome as soon as we walked in, and the hotel had a great atmosphere. The location is convenient and the price was good for a Marriott. We booked a last minute family trip and checked in late. Kehlani, a nice young woman, answered our questions and suggested CM Lanes for a sports bar and grill. We enjoyed it. Our room had two queen beds and was really clean, with no complaints. The bathroom is the first thing I check, so thanks to housekeeping for making it comfortable. Breakfast was okay. The orange juice had settled at the bottom of the pitcher, though the sandwiches were a nice touch. Looking forward to the next getaway. We'll be back!

The room was clean and had plenty of towels and supplies. It was also very quiet. I never heard other guests in the hallway, and that alone would bring me back. The employees were polite and welcoming. There was an internet problem when I checked in, but the manager got me into the room and said we could sort out payment when I left. At breakfast, Micah did a great job keeping food and drinks available, checking the counters often, and greeting guests. The hotel is a bit far from my fishing spot at Conn Brown Harbor, but the location was okay. I'll come back.

I've stayed in lots of hotels for work, but I haven't been this pleased with one employee before. Sandra P. was attentive, very professional, and excellent at her job. She even went out of her way to bring towels and provide a wonderful nail service. Her personality is A1 and her attitude is top notch. I'd absolutely stay here again, 10 out of 10.
