Knights Inn Arcadia

I stayed for a night while visiting family nearby. The price was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was really nice as well.

The room was dirty, and the lights and TV didn’t work. Once the TV was turned on, it couldn’t be turned off. There was no one at the check-in desk until we called. We needed a room for one night, but didn’t feel safe, so after going to our event we decided to drive home that same night.

We stayed a week and would happily come back. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette with a full-size fridge made it easy to prepare meals. The pool is nice, and updates are underway. The owners are very nice and try their best to accommodate guests. There’s also a washer and dryer on site.

It was 28 degrees at night, and our room had no heat at all. We rented it for two nights to get out of the cold, but I’d have been better off in my van. If you leave the room at 7 a.m., the door locks and your key stops working, so you have to go get another one. I asked the rude woman at the desk, kelly, about a partial refund for the lack of heat, and she immediately said I had 15 minutes after check-in to get a refund. I tried to explain that David had told me on Saturday he’d ordered heaters and would bring one when they arrived, but he never did. They’re still sitting in the office. She was so rude I couldn’t get a word in. Maintenance is very poor and the staff are disrespectful. I don’t recommend staying here. I only gave one star because the review won’t post without one. I’d give it a negative rating.
