Bent Creek Lodge Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was delicious every morning, and Randy’s kindness and generosity made us feel right at home. Bent Creek Lodge is cozy and spotless, and the hospitality was wonderful. We made some lovely memories here and can’t wait to return. Such a hidden gem, highly recommend.

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to get engaged. Randy and his family helped us celebrate, and we’ll be back for years to come. The lodge is also in a great spot for getting around Asheville, with a very short drive to downtown Asheville, Biltmore, the Arboretum, and plenty more. We fit a lot into our weekend, then loved relaxing in the beautiful, spotless rooms, porches, and lounges. Randy was personable and knowledgeable, and the staff were welcoming too. Breakfast was delicious and filling each morning, with fresh baked afternoon treats and hot tea or coffee ready to warm us up after the cool mountain air. No complaints at all.

You might end up wanting to spend your vacation right at the lodge. There are two sitting rooms, a roomy dining area, lots of cozy chairs, and a big fireplace with a crackling fire. It has that “Hallmark Movie” feel, set in the woods, but Ashville’s tourist spots are still close. Mornings on the porch swing were peaceful, with birds all around. Randy, the on-site proprietor, was friendly and had good suggestions for places to eat and visit. Breakfast changed from day to day and wasn’t the usual fare. Snacks and hot and cold drinks were available around the clock.

We felt at home the moment we walked through the door and really didn’t want to leave. Randy and the staff made our stay wonderful, from the service to the Inn itself and its setting in the forest. We spent time in the great room, chatting with other guests by the warm, crackling fireplace and enjoying homemade treats from the staff. Breakfast was scrumptious and over the top: scrambled eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit, sausage, and decadent creme brulee french toast. The Inn has a huge front porch and a back deck overlooking the surroundings, with a fire pit and comfy rocking chairs. It’s just minutes from Asheville. We’d love to come back in spring or summer to see the shrubs and flowers in bloom. Highly recommend.
