I’d just written a pretty harsh restaurant review while visiting town, and felt like balancing it with something positive. The Ardmore suites took a little finding, but it was worth it. We booked online for $55 including taxes. It was clean, comfortable, and looked well kept. The pool was closed and breakfast had been scaled back, as seems to happen when these properties change hands, but it was still a very good deal. The staff seemed to understand how important it is to pay attention to guests, perhaps because of the connected ownership. If you want a comfortable stay without spending a lot, give this one a try.

My husband and I stayed for an anniversary weekend. The hotel was okay, though it could have been better. It used to be a Comfort Inn, and I understand renovations are needed, but the work left things a bit messy. The lights in both the room and restroom weren't working.

The breakfast was just waffles and sausage, with no yogurt or milk. At least there was coffee. There was also only one person handling room cleaning, check-in, and concierge duties, and he was sitting barefoot in the lobby with his feet on a table. Disgusting. I wouldn't stay here.

We arrived to find the room door propped open, overflowing trash cans, and beer cans on the side tables. There was major construction going on, but nobody had told us beforehand. We checked in because we expected to be out for a while, then turned around and left once we saw the room. The front desk tried to avoid giving us a refund. Go somewhere else.

The location worked well for us, quiet but still close to everything. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and had great amenities. I also liked the well-equipped gym for a quick workout. Breakfast was included, with plenty of tasty choices to start the day. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made the stay easy. We had a fantastic time at Ardmore Inn & Suites and would recommend it for a cozy, convenient stay.
