Brian at the front desk is a big part of what makes 19Nineteen feel like a community. He’s professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about how residents are doing. Whether he’s greeting you warmly, handling a request, or helping the place feel secure, you notice his effort in everyday life. The property itself also impressed me during my time there. It’s modern, clean, and welcoming, and the amenities feel well cared for, from the fitness center to the shared spaces. 19Nineteen looks beautiful but also feels like a community. The service and amenities make it somewhere I’d recommend to anyone looking for comfort and quality.

The concierge team is available around the clock and always tries to be accommodating. Thanks to Victor, Brian, Joe, and the rest of the team. The location is hard to beat, with the Metro nearby and a farmers market close by. My unit’s maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the units and gym are up to date and nice. A couple of things aren’t perfect: the rent increases were steeper than I’d hoped, though they seemed in line with the market, and the walls are on the thin side. That hasn’t been a major issue for me. I’ve enjoyed living here for a couple of years.

I’ve lived at 19Nineteen for over four years and expect to stay in Arlington at least another three, with no plans to move. The Courthouse neighborhood has been a great surprise after living in DC for a long time. Everything is convenient on foot, and I’ve made lots of friends through fitness classes and other neighborhood activities. From the building, I can easily walk to three grocery stores, Target, two drugstores, plenty of restaurants at different price points, and just about anything else I need. The building is well maintained, the sound blocking is good, and I rarely wait for gym equipment. There’s secure garage parking, bike storage, and a teleworking center with private cubicles and a printer. The apartments have reasonable rents for a modern neighborhood, in-unit laundry, and HVAC. My unit has solid fixtures and good appliances, and maintenance fixes problems quickly. The common areas are easy to access, too. The one thing that bothers me is the elevators. They’re slow, and one is often out of service, leaving one for around 200 apartments. It’s a fairly minor issue in an otherwise great building. The staff are friendly, kind, and helpful across management, concierge, and maintenance. I’ve become friends with some of them and learned that many have stayed with Bozzuto for years, are happy at work, and have had chances to advance. It feels like a career for them, and you can see that in the care they put into their work.

I’ve had bad experiences with apartments before, from the condition of the place to the staff, but living at 1919 has been sincerely great. Brian Moody, one of the concierges, is a big reason why. He’s respectful, helpful, organized, and goes beyond his job responsibilities. He’s made life here better for residents and deserves recognition.

We’ll miss our regular chats with Brian and Joe most of all. Brian worked afternoons and evenings, and every day he’d pause what he was doing to say hi to my daughter when we got home from daycare. She’d light up, and greeting our friend Brain became part of our weekday routine. Joe was wonderful on weekends, especially around the birth of our daughter. While I was in the hospital, he helped my mom and mother-in-law get into the apartment and get things set up. After that, he remembered both of them by face and name whenever they visited. He always greeted us with a smile and asked how the family was doing. My husband and I lived at 1919 for five years, from the start of our marriage through our daughter’s birth, and loved it. The apartment and facilities were great and well maintained, but the front desk staff, especially Brian and Joe, made it stand out from other places we’ve lived.
