Arlington inn

For the price, you get roomy rooms with the usual basics and comfortable furniture. The inn is in a handy spot, though there isn’t much to do right in town. It’s also a lot cheaper than most nearby places. The building is a little older.

Clean rooms, good people, and really great service. Best hotel in town!

The lobby hit us with a nasty smell as soon as we walked in, and the room we got wasn’t the one we reserved. It was disgusting: dried paint caked into the carpet, an unclean bathroom, and two empty cases of beer cans in the dresser drawers. A hole in the floor by the bathroom was covered with carpet, and there was mold above the shower. Dried orange tobacco was on the bathroom windowsill, the outlets were fried, the sheets and pillowcases smelled, and one pillow had a hole. They also didn’t give us the Wi-Fi password or more than one key at check-in. Keep driving to the next town for a place to stay. I’ll never come back. Zero stars.

I’ve stayed here for hunting trips. It’s not fancy, but it beats sleeping in a tent or trailer. In a small town they seem to do the bare minimum, though. Management could put more effort into repairs and improvements.
