Holiday Inn Express & Suites Arlington North - Stadium Area by IHG

I was nervous after reading the reviews, but I was only in town for three days and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were attentive and friendly, my room was comfortable enough, and the continental breakfast was pretty great, especially the warm cinnamon rolls. The location was convenient too. Boston's bar and grill across the parking lot had the best burger. I'd consider staying here again.

I have been a Holiday Inn Express customer for a long time, and this was my worst experience. I booked through IHG.COM and requested a ground-floor room, but got assigned to the third floor. When I asked for the first floor, the attendant had to call someone for permission and couldn't make the change himself. The room was okay, like the usual rooms in this chain, but the service was awful. The coffeemaker was broken, so I asked to have it replaced that day. It wasn't replaced, and my room wasn't cleaned either. The following day they finally cleaned the room, but replaced the coffeemaker with another broken one. Staff questions got me nowhere, and they seemed to have no authority to arrange a working replacement. The room went uncleaned again the next day. I stayed four nights and got just one cleaning. Asking the cleaning staff didn't help since they indicated they didn't speak English. It felt like the hotel was running with the fewest staff possible, and the people who were there couldn't, or didn't want to, do anything for customers. There are plenty of other hotels nearby. Save yourself the frustration and choose somewhere else.

This was my third stay here, and I've never had a problem. The room, staff, and stay were all amazing. They were mopping when I arrived, so the hotel smelled great. The Wi-Fi worked well for gaming systems too.

I work as a producer for a media company in Florida, so I'm usually on the road or moving between busy cities and airports. This time I had to switch hotels early in the morning, so I made a reservation and called the front desk. The woman who answered treated me really well. She helped me check in early, matched the price, and gave me a huge discount, all with fast service. Thank you. I'd encourage people to book at this hotel in Arlington, Texas.
