The highway is right beside the hotel, so we heard some traffic, but closing the door took care of it for us. The free breakfast was simple but filling: scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, cereal, orange juice, milk, and a few other basics. Our room looked fully renovated, with new beds, a TV, fridge, and even a ceiling fan. Everything felt clean and comfortable. The hotel's being upgraded now. I was pleased with the stay and would return. It's a budget-friendly option for anyone who wants an affordable, clean place without luxury. As a visitor from Canada, I needed something within budget given our dollar isn't very strong these days, and this place fit while still being comfortable.

We spent three nights and four days here. The staff were lovely and quick to help with questions or problems. I believe it's family owned and run. Booking by phone, directly on their site, or in person may get you a better price and support them more directly than using a third-party site. Room quality varied. My cousin had a nicely renovated upstairs room. I arrived a day before my mom and aunt, who shared my room, and wish I'd asked to switch on that first night. Room 104 downstairs smelled musty, the AC wasn't great, small dead bugs were by the front door, the toilet had no lid, and the fridge was noisy. Sometimes the toilet kept running after a flush. The morning after our second night, it overflowed into the bathroom and main room while my aunt was showering. The manager moved us quickly to a room a few doors down, and that one had no problems. Hindsight is 20/20, I guess. Breakfast is free and served in a sunny room. There's also a bar, lounge, and event space that looked fun. Some rooms may not have microwaves, but there's one in the lobby by check-in, and the front desk stays open pretty late. The outdoor pool is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in warmer months, a big plus in the Texas heat. A free shuttle to the stadiums was running from noon when we went, and I'd ask about the schedule ahead of time.

The area around the hotel was quiet, and I had no safety concerns. My room was clean and affordable, and breakfast was good. I especially liked the fresh fruit and strong coffee, though there were other choices too. The manager was a very sweet woman who told me the hotel is family owned. I'd stay here again.

From the outside, I worried I was just getting what I'd paid for, but the place turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It's affordable, and the rooms are very nice with incredibly comfortable beds. The staff made us feel like family. We also liked the lounge, with good music and staff who were amazing. The pool area was clean, and the grands had a blast. It's in the middle of the DFW Metroplex, about 5-10 minutes from Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Six Flags. These folks have invested in the place and are doing a good job looking after it. Give it a chance and you won't regret it.

Breakfast had hot eggs, sausage, waffles, and tasty muffins. TI at the front desk was a gem and seemed to anticipate every request. I didn't catch the bartender's name, but she was as sweet as could be, and they offered to start karaoke, which sounded fun. For a solid three-star place, the room was big, with queen-size memory foam mattresses and four pillows per bed. The AC was cranked up, and even the spare blanket was soft. The shower had a rain head and got super hot. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were built in, so there was no mess. The TV had live channels and movies, and we could watch March madness.
